Any personal data provided by you to Jan Rogers Counselling through any means (verbal, written, in electronic form, or by your use of this website) will be held and processed in accordance with the data protection principles set out in the General Data Protection Regulations. 

 

At our initial appointment I will collect information related to your personal, social and medical circumstances.  Information will continue to be collected as our work together progresses. I collect this information to ensue that I administer the service effectively and efficiently and to provide  efficient and professional counselling.

 

I will not share any information about you unless I have reason to believe that you are at serious risk of harm or that there is the potential for harm to others. In this case, I am bound to discuss this with you and disclose to the relevant authorities. Information must also be shared when I am required to do so by law. No other information would be shared without your consent. 

 

All personal data is processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. I will comply with my obligations and safeguard your rights under the GDPR and Professional Body regulations at all times.
